  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon chopped garlic
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 3/4 cup full-fat milk
  • 1 teaspoon dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup grated gruyère cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated fontina cheese
  • Salt and white pepper to taste
  • 1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish with nonstick spray.
  2. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter and sauté chopped garlic until fragrant. Sprinkle in flour, whisking until smooth for about one minute.
  3. Gradually add milk while whisking continuously until thickened. Stir in gruyère, fontina, and parmesan cheeses, seasoning with salt and white pepper.
  4. In a large bowl, combine cooked gnocchi with the cheese sauce until evenly coated.
