  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter (melted, divided)
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and arrange a rack in the middle position.
  2. Position one potato between two chopsticks or skewers; slice vertical slits about ⅛ inch apart without cutting all the way through.
