  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp garlic (minced)
  • 1 ¾ cups whole white mushrooms (washed and dried)
  • ¼ cup cream cheese (cut into small cubes)
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp dry ground oregano
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp ground black pepper
  • ½ tbsp fresh chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Heat a large frying pan over medium-high heat. Add unsalted butter, olive oil, minced garlic, and whole white mushrooms. Sauté until the mushrooms are tender and browned (about five minutes).
  2. Reduce heat to medium and stir in cream cheese until melted.
  3. Lower heat to medium-low; add Parmesan cheese, heavy cream, Italian seasoning, dry ground oregano, salt, and ground black pepper. Simmer for five minutes while stirring frequently.
  4. Remove from heat and sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.
