  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • Two 8-ounce packages refrigerated crescent roll dough or sheets
  • 16 ounces full-fat cream cheese, softened
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1½ teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the cinnamon and ½ cup sugar to create the cinnamon sugar topping.
  3. Roll out one package of crescent dough into a greased baking pan, pressing evenly across the bottom.
  4. In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese, ¾ cup sugar, egg, vanilla extract, and melted butter until smooth.
  5. Spread half of the cheesecake mixture over the dough layer, top with the second package of dough and remaining filling, then sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
  6. Bake for about 28 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Allow to cool completely before refrigerating for at least three hours.
