  • 4 slices of Swiss or Provolone cheese
  • 2 tablespoons toasted breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 chicken bouillon cube
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • Dash hot sauce (optional)
  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare the creamy Parmesan Dijon sauce by melting butter in a saucepan. Whisk in flour and chicken bouillon until combined. Gradually add milk while whisking to avoid lumps. Stir in Dijon mustard and optional hot sauce until thickened. Add grated Parmesan cheese until smooth.
  2. In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Place one tortilla in the skillet and layer with cheese, sliced grilled chicken, toasted breadcrumbs, and more cheese. Drizzle with warm sauce before topping with another tortilla.
  3. Cook each side for about 3-4 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
