  • ½ pound lean ground beef
  • ½ cup diced yellow onion
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ cup water
  • 2 tablespoons taco seasoning
  • 8 ounces Colby jack cheese, shredded
  • 12 ounces tortilla chips (about of a bag)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C) and spray a bundt pan with cooking spray.
  2. In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook ground beef with onion, salt, and pepper until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in water and taco seasoning; cook for another 2–3 minutes until thickened.
  4. Layer half of the cheese at the bottom of the bundt pan followed by half of the beef mixture and about ⅓ of the tortilla chips. Repeat the layers.
  5. Bake for about 10 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
  6. Carefully invert onto a plate, garnish as desired, and serve warm.
